A message from Principal Jimmy Hoffman:

 

Welcome to Lakeland High School, where we’re dedicated to helping students thrive academically and personally. As a top-ranking school in Idaho, we focus on student engagement, hard work, and character both in and out of the classroom. Our experienced teachers prepare students for success in life, whether they’re headed to college, vocational training, or the military. 

 

Lakeland High School’s Dual Credit Program is exceptional statewide for offering students the opportunity to earn college credits or even a degree from an accredited Idaho college. Our students can acquire up to 47 college credits while remaining on-campus full time and participating in extracurricular activities. We also offer workforce-ready vocational training and certification through our partnership with Kootenai Technical Education Campus . 

 

At LHS, students are highly encouraged to get involved in extracurricular activities, which can improve attendance, grades, and career readiness. We offer a wide range of opportunities through sports, music, drama, visual arts, and clubs. 

 

As the Principal of Lakeland High School, it’s my goal to cultivate an educational environment where students are challenged, strengthened, and contribute to service in their community. I believe our students will have the edge to succeed in whatever they choose to pursue.
