I am a North Idaho native and was raised in the Priest Lake area.  I graduated from Priest River High School, then attended North Idaho College for my associate’s degree.  I went on to Eastern Washington University for my bachelor’s and master’s degrees, majoring in psychology with a school counseling emphasis..  In 1997 I began working as a middle school counselor in Moses Lake, WA.  After five years, I then became a stay-at-home mom when my husband Bill and I started our family.  I am blessed to be a mom of three sons and a daughter. 

I joined Lakeland High School in 2014.  From the beginning I have noticed and continue to appreciate that Lakeland students are one-of-a-kind!  They are well-mannered, respectful, and they work hard!  It is a privilege to be a part of this community and this chapter in students’ lives..  Their high school experience allows students to try out various classes, friends, and activities that will help them discover their strengths and passion in life.  It is a joy to encourage and assist students and their families as they look toward their future. 

Outside of work I enjoy walking, cooking, huckleberry picking, camping, and golfing. I love spending time at home hanging out with family playing Bananagrams, cribbage, pinochle or watching sports.. We get very hyped rooting on the Zags, Cougs, Seahawks, and M’s!  We love being a part of and supporting local sports as well- Go Hawks!
