I graduated from the College of Southern Idaho and the University of Idaho having studied History and School Counseling.  I have worked at Lakeland since the fall of 1997 and have lived in Twin Lakes, Rathdrum, and Hauser.

One of the things I love about LHS is that we have a staff committed to educating, coaching, and advising all of our students to be the best they can be according to our students' unique abilities and talents. I love how we have so many opportunities for our students to take college courses, professional technical programs, and apprenticeships while in high school. I tell my students to be the best version of themselves, go the extra mile with yourself and others, practice kindness, and be grateful for something every day.

My hobbies are hiking, skiing, baking bread, traveling, and playing table top games. I have been married since 1990 and have two daughters that graduated from LHS and two granddaughters in elementary school.  I believe we are all in an incredible story called life and all of us  have an important role to play.
